Our students love to share their writing with an audience that reaches beyond their classrooms. Our hope is that you will read and enjoy the writing we have posted. Check out each of the grade level tabs above.

1st Grade

I admire my mom.  My mom is nice to me.  She gives things to other people that don’t have money.  She helps me paint.  She likes me.  She gives me nice things like play dates.  She likes to stick around me.  She buys me nice things for me.

I admire my dad.  I love to play video games and football with him.  He is a loving dad.  My dad takes a lot and a lot of good care of me.  I love my dad so much.  We love each other so much.  He is the best dad in the world.

A Person I Admire
I admire Mackenzie because I think she’s pretty.  And, she never gets in trouble.  She is so nice.  She is nice because she never ever hurts people.  I met her in kindergarten.  I always played football, but sometimes I sat at the table with her.

The Person I Admire
The person I admire is Ethan.  He helps me.  And, he plays with me.  He teaches me to do stuff.  He’s a good football player.  That’s why I admire him.  I like Ethan and he likes me.  I bet he admires me like I admire him.  He is my best friend, and I’m his.

My special person is my sister.  She is very nice and I love her.  She helps me with my math.  She is kind to me.  She is very smart.  She has blue eyes like me.  She is 11 years old.  She plays Monster High Dolls with me.  She has Monster High Dolls too.  She loves me and I love her back.  I am her little sister and I love her.  I have known her since I was born.  She makes me feel happy.  She has the same hair as me.  When my mom and dad are somewhere my sister baby-sits me.  She helps me with a lot of stuff.  She loves me and I love her too.  I travel with her.  She is writing three books.  I love her and she loves me too.

My friend Jackson is one of my friends.  He is a good skateboarder.  He is my neighbor.  He is in fifth grade.  We have fun together.  We do stunts together.  I like him because he is brave to do stunts like the pros.  He is brave like me.   He is ten.  We do stunts together.  We live on the beach.  He is my best friend.
